Hive - Sound Installation
Hive consisted of a structure built from straw bales. The structure contained four 6ft steel pipes, from which the sound of swarming flies emanated.
Although the sound played in each pipe was the same, the timing of the four sound sources was offset, which created the aural impression of movement.
