Stirling Steward

Stirling Steward is a dancer who trained at London Contemporary Dance School & in the USA, working for several years in London with choreographers Gill Clarke, Gary Rowe, Simon Whitehead, Kate Willis, Karl Jay-Lewin, and is now living in Abercych, West Wales.

She has been developing her own performance work over the past 5 years -
(mostly) solo, in collaboration with cellist Kathryn Locke, was shown during 2005;
someone and a fish, begun during ointment's visit to Quebec is an ongoing work.

With Authentic Movement & improvisation at the root of her practise, Stirling is committed to creating performance experiences that are revealing for both performer & audience/witness alike.

At present, being a mother is the centre of her creative activity.
